    Hi Christine,
There are a lot of bad breeders out there selling sick pups and badly bred dogs. We don’t have anyone to recommend to you but we will give you some tips. First it’s a great thing to look into a Dandie Dinmont Terrier rescue and adopted to help save a dog. If you can’t find the perfect dog at a rescue then check AKC.org to look for a breeder. Find a breeder that has recent health testing done, within the last year, through the O.F.A.. Be sure to look up the common health problems with the Dandie Dinmont and make sure that the breeder is health testing both parents for those problems. Read over the Dandie Dinmont breed standard on AKC.org. A good breeder will only allow visitors to meet puppies after sterilizing their shoes and washing their hands first. If the breeder just lets visitors meet puppies without washing up first, then its a good possibility the breeder does not care if the puppies get parvo or sick. Make sure the breeder can show proof of de-worming and vaccinations on their puppies and adults.

Also the only legitimate registries are the AKC, UKC, and CKC(Canadian Kennel Club) any others are not real. So if you buy a dog make sure the breeder uses one of these registries.
